More Records On Day 2 Of NCAA Championships For The Cowgirls

Pueblo, Colorado - The Cowgirls were on the track for two events on the second day of the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships.

Junior Patreece Clarke advanced to Saturday's finals of the 100m Hurdles as she finished second in her heat with a time of 13.13 which is a Personal Best and a new NMHU school record in the event.

Ashley Barrett ran in the 200m Dash preliminaries but did not finish the race due to a slight hamstring issue.

After the race Coach Bob DeVries said, "We know Ashley is disappointed about not finishing the 200 today, but her health is what matters most and we're confident she'll be able to race in the 4x100 and 100m Finals on Saturday."
