Colorado Springs, Colorado - The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) released the results of the Women's Soccer Coaches' Preseason Poll this afternoon ahead of the 2025 season.
New Mexico Highlands University garnered 19 points in voting conducted by the conference's 13 coaches to finish behind Adams State in the poll.
"Preseason polls are often a reflection of the previous year, and therefore may support our ranking at the bottom," said second year Coach
Amanda Evans. "However, this year, 70% of our team is new. So we are excited to take the wisdom of the returners and the energy of the new players to surprise a lot of teams this year. We do not expect to get ranked at the bottom ever again."
The Cowgirls open the 2025 campaign in historic Las Vegas on September 4th at 4:00 pm when they host West Texas A&M.
