Dominant 4x100 Performance Earns Cowgirls RMAC Team Of The Week Honors

Colorado Springs, Colorado - New Mexico Highlands University's 4x100-meter relay team has been named the Week 4 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Outdoor Track & Field Team of the Week, the conference office announced today.

The Cowgirls' 4x100-meter relay team of Amoya Jameison, Ashley Barrett, Kayci-Jo Davis, and Patreece Clarke dominated the field at the Jo Meaker Classic & Multi in Canyon, Texas, clocking a blistering time of 44.63. The quartet won the race by more than half a second, and the time currently leads the RMAC this season while ranking third in NCAA Division II.

This marks the second time in three weeks that New Mexico Highlands has earned a weekly conference honor.

New Mexico Highlands returns to action Saturday at the Greyhound Open in Portales, its final meet before the RMAC Championships, scheduled for April 24–26 in Pueblo, Colorado.
