Cowboys Host Regis In Critical RMAC Series

Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowboys open a big four game series in historic Las Vegas on Friday at 3:00 against Regis.

New Mexico Highlands swept last week's series from visiting Adams State behind solid starting pitching as Andrew Baltazar, Ramon Brion, and Anthony Reyes each pitched complete game victories.

BALTAZAR RMAC PITCHER OF THE WEEK:  Baltazar, the Cowboys' Game 1 starter, started NMHU's weekend sweep of Adams State with a seven-inning, run-rule-shortened shutout. He scattered three hits and a walk while striking out three of the 26 batters he faced. Baltazar did not allow a runner past second base in his outing, retired the side in order four times, and retired nine of the final 10 batters he faced.
