Colorado Springs, Colorado - The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) unveiled its all-conference softball teams Wednesday morning, with a New Mexico Highlands standout earning recognition among the league's best.
Junior Jazmyn Griego was named All-RMAC Honorable Mention for the second consecutive season.
The Albuquerque native turned in one of the top all-around seasons for New Mexico Highlands in 2026, excelling both at the plate and in the circle. Griego led the Cowgirls with a .375 batting average while adding 15 doubles, five home runs, 37 RBI, and a team-best 1.003 OPS in 53 games. Her 15 doubles ranked ninth in the RMAC this season. In the circle, Griego made 18 appearances with 13 starts, recording four wins, one shutout, and a save across 68 innings pitched.
The league's 12 head softball coaches nominated and voted on the RMAC major awards, All-RMAC teams, and Gold Glove selections. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own student-athletes.
