GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls (4-13, 0-7 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) will finish a busy week of 12 games with a four-game swing to Colorado Mesa (12-11, 8-3 RMAC) this weekend (March 14-15). All games will have statistics

Jacquelyn Solis leads the team in batting average, hitting .400 for the season. In the series finale at Oklahoma Panhandle State Wednesday (March 11), she had four hits in as many at-bats with four RBI's and two runs scored. Senior
Jessica Brink picked up her first two wins of the year and is now 2-6 on the year in the circle.
The Mavericks currently have the most wins in the conference but sit third due to winning percentage. Sarah Phillis leads the team with a .373 batting average while Makayla Kovac is close behind at .371 with a team-leading 25 RBI's and 21 runs. Brooke Hodgson is 8-5 on the year in the circle with a 4.70 ERA and eight complete games.
Saturday's double header will begin at noon with Sunday's double dip set for 11 a.m.
The Cowgirls will open up their home schedule next Friday and Saturday (March 21-22) against CSU-Pueblo.
