Second RMAC Pod For Cowgirls This Season

LAKEWOOD, Colo.- The Cowgirls will travel up to Lakewood to take on Colorado Christian and Colorado Mesa in their second RMAC pod on the season. The Cowgirls will play two games against each team on Saturday and Sunday.
 
 
Games
Game 1- Saturday vs Colorado Mesa at noon
Game 2- Saturday at Colorado Christian at 2 p.m.
Game 3- Sunday at Colorado Christian at 10 a.m.
Game 4- Sunday vs Colorado Mesa at noon
  
Scouting New Mexico Highlands
The Cowgirls enter the weekend with a 14-21, 9-15 record coming off an 6-0 week. The Cowgirls swept the Greyhounds of Eastern New Mexico in two games and took four from RMAC opponent Black Hills St.
 
 
The Cowgirls' Madison Davis went 3-0 this weekend with a 0.41 ERA. Davis is now 5-8 with a 4.14 ERA in 16 games with 14 of those being starts. Brianna Velasquez leads the Cowgirls with a 2.45 ERA while holding a 3-4 ERA. Leading the team in wins is Michelle Brincefield with a 6-7 record with a 3.72 ERA.
 
 
In the box the Cowgirls are led by Jacquelyn Solis with a .363 average with nine doubles and one homerun. Ka'iulani Kamai and Dekota Monarrez both went deep last weekend to help lift the Cowgirls over the Yellowjackets.
 
 
Scouting Colorado Mesa
The Mavericks enter the weekend with an impressive 26-7, 25-1 record and have won their last 21 games. The Mavericks last loss came against Colorado Christian by a score of 3-2 on February 27^th.
 
 
In the circle the Mavericks are led by McKenzie Surface with a 12-3 record while starting 15 of the 18 games she has played in this season. The only other Maverick with more than five starts is Rochelle Talamentes who is 7-2 in 11 starts and three relief appearances.
 
 
At the plate Alexandria Dufor leads the team with a .473 average in 32 games with 52 hits. Makayla Kovac is right behind Dufour with a .431 averaged while starting all 33 games this season. She is also tied lead on the team with 40 RBIs this seasons.
 

Scouting Colorado Christian
The Cougars enter the weekend with a 10-30, 9-19 record after dropping three-of-four from Metro St.
 
 
The Cougars are lead by Tana Feiner with a 7-13 record and a 6.75 ERA while starting 20 of the 23 games she has pitched in this season. The Cowgirls should also expect to see Shelby Differnderfer (3-8,8.68) who has started 13 of the 21 games that she has played in this season.
 
 
At the plate the Cougars are led by Charlotte Romero with a .485 average while smacking 16 doubles, three homeruns, and 30 RBIs. Hanna Farmer is batting .404 while starting 40 games this season.
