Women's Soccer take on #14 St. Edwards

Austin, TX- New Mexico Highlands Women's Soccer team take on St. Edwards University on September 3rd in Austin, Texas at 12 pm MT.
 
NMHU Cowgirls:
The Cowgirls went 7-11-1 overall and 5-5-1 in the RMAC. Highlands were placed # 6 in the RMAC Women's Soccer Tournament, but lost to University of Colorado- Colorado Spring 2-0. Cowgirls are led by head Coach Oscar Mendoza.

Top Players to Look Out For:
Senior Forward Danielle Acuna had two goals, one assist and nine shots on goal (69.2% SOG) for the 2015 season.
Senior Forward Anyssa Dagnino had one goal with 8 shots on goal (34.8%SOG) for the 2015 season.
 
 
St. Edwards Hilltoppers:

The Hilltoppers are ranked #14 in the NSCAA pre-season polls. St. Edwards went 14-6-1 overall and 6-2-0 in the Heartland Conference. Also they were the 2015 South Central Regional Champions and made it to the NCAA sweet 16. The Hilltoppers are led by Nike Cowell.
