Cowgirls Head On the Road to Face #18 Regis

The New Mexico Highlands University Women's Basketball team will travel this week as they take on the Regis University Rangers on January 27th at 5:00 p.m. and the Chadron State College Eagles on January 28th at 5:30 p.m. Your Cowgirls are now 2-14 overall and 1-12 RMAC.
 
New Mexico Highlands University Cowgirls:
The Cowgirls come into the weekend off of a loss to Colorado Christian University. Junior Kaelin Shaffer had a productive outing for the Cowgirls as she led the team with 15 points. She was also able to pull down 4 rebounds. Senior Jacinda Woodruff also had a solid game. She played big time minutes, pitching in 13 points, and coming away with 2 steals. Freshmen Juliana Gurule scored 11 points and gave 3 assists on the night. 
 
Regis University Rangers:
The Rangers are 15-2 overall on the season, and they will await the Cowgirls on a 5 game winning streak. Mary Sigler has been the driving force for her team as she scores 13.5 points per game. Kaylee Rader has been tough inside the paint all season as she leads the Rangers with 7.6 rebounds per game, to go with 9.2 points per game.
 
Chadron State College Eagles:
The Eagles are 5-11 overall this year, including a 2-4 home record. Kalli Fedderson has been solid for her team this season as she is the leading scorer and rebounder. She averages 14.4 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Erin Graham is averaging 12.6 points per game, to go with 25 steals on the season.
