Women's basketball Hosts Texas A&M International for Home Opener

Las Vegas, NM --- The New Mexico Highlands Women's basketball team will host Texas A&M International for their 2019-2020 home-opener on Tuesday night at 5 pm in Wilson Complex.
 
ABOUT TEXAS A&M INTERNATIONAL: The Dustdevils (0-2, 0-0 Lonestar) are coming in to the contest after losing to RMAC woes Chadron State and Black Hills State. Nicole Heyn leads the way offensively as she is averaging 14.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Patrycia Jaworska (11 points, 2 steals), Josselin Geer (9.5 points, 2 steals), Eva Langton (8 points, 4 rebounds), and Julynne De Silva ( 6.5 points, 3.5 rebounds) will all look to aid the Dustdevils in picking up their first win of the season.
 
ABOUT THE COWGIRLS: The Cowgirls come in to the game after losing their first two games of the season to Eastern NM and Western NM this past weekend in Durango, CO. Jordyn Lewis, 1 of 2 returners from last season, will look to lead this group as she is averaging 18 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists per contest and Ashley Antone is averaging 16.5 points and 5 rebounds per game. Down low, Harlie Roach will continue to grow and learn the game as she is averaging a team high 6 rebounds per game.
