LAS VEGAS, N.M. --- The New Mexico Highlands athletic department's website has a fresh look as the home of Cowboy and Cowgirl athletics revealed their website redesign - along with a new web address - on Wednesday.
To fit along with NMHU athletics' social media branding, the redesigned website address for NMHU athletics is NMHUAthletics.com (though the old address NMHUCowboys.com will reroute to NMHUAthletics.com for a period of time). NMHU worked with its website host Sidearm Sports to redesign the website to give it a cleaner look while providing more options for Cowboy and Cowgirl fans.
"We've been working hard at New Mexico Highlands to continue to improve our brand and this sleek, fresh and new website Sidearm has created for us is only going to take us to the next level," said
Clayton Jones, NMHU's assistant athletic director for external relations and communications. "We appreciate the top-notch work the Sidearm team has done for us and we're excited to have our fans, alumni, student-athletes, staff and more enjoy the new website."
The website provides all the same information the previous did to go along with easy access to videos, social media, team information and more. It also provides advertisers different options on a website that saw nearly 1.4 million page views (up more than 150,000 from the year before) from 186,000 different users (up 30,000 from the year before).
