Colorado Springs, Colorado - New Mexico Highlands standouts Angella Graham and Anthony Edwards will be enshrined in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Hall of Fame, the league office announced this afternoon.
Graham, a native of Jamaica, earned 10 All-America honors over two seasons with New Mexico Highlands' indoor and outdoor track & field programs (2009-11). The Cowgirls' first-ever NCAA Division II All-American, she capped her career with a bronze medal in the triple jump at the 2011 NCAA Division II Indoor Championships.
A versatile multi-event athlete, Graham also competed in the indoor pentathlon and outdoor heptathlon. She won the pentathlon at the 2010 and 2011 RMAC Indoor Championships and went on to place seventh and sixth, respectively, at the NCAA Championships. Graham concluded her career with nine RMAC gold medals and five silver medals.
Edwards was a three-time NAIA All-American during his career at New Mexico Highlands before going on to an eight-year NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals.
A native of Casa Grande, Arizona, Edwards earned First Team All-RMAC honors twice (1985, 1987) and was named a Second Team NAIA All-American in both seasons. He led the conference in receiving yards per game in each of those years, averaging 117.5 yards per game in 1985 and 114.5 in 1987. Edwards remains the Cowboys' all-time leader in receiving yards (3,996) and receptions (289).
Following his collegiate career, Edwards signed as an undrafted free agent with Philadelphia, where he played two seasons, before joining the Phoenix Cardinals in 1991. He totaled 105 receptions for 1,404 yards during his six seasons with the Cardinals.
Graham and Edwards join Hector Hernandez (Class of 2003) and Jay Lewis (Class of 2022) as New Mexico Highlands representatives in the RMAC Hall of Fame.
The 2026 class, consisting of seven individuals and two teams, will be inducted on Thursday, July 9, at the COS City Hub in Colorado Springs. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
