NMHU wrestling picked eighth in RMAC Preseason Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- The New Mexico Highlands wrestling team was picked eighth in the RMAC Preaseason Coaches Poll released Thursday by the conference.

The Cowboys were picked eight points behind seventh-place San Francisco State. 

Colorado School of Mines was picked to win the conference and had three first-place votes - just two points ahead of Adams State, which also had three first-place votes. Colorado Mesa was picked third with a first-place vote, Western Colorado was selected fourth with a first place vote, CSU Pueblo fifth and Chadron State sixth.

The Cowboys under first-year coach Cody Cole open the season Nov. 1 against Grand Canyon University.
