Las Vegas, NM --- The schedule has changed for the softball weekend series against Colorado School of Mines as the Cowgirls will host the Orediggers on Saturday March 13
th and Saturday March 14
th at the NMHU softball fields in Las Vegas, NM.

The Cowgirls (4-4, 4-4 RMAC) have split the past two weekends, the first against Black Hills State and the second against Regis, sit tied for 5
th place in the RMAC with CSU-Pueblo. The Cowgirls are hitting .319 as a group with 75 hits, seven home runs, and 48 RBI on the season.

Megan Gutierrez, the freshman from Whitier, CA, leads the team with a .455 batting average, which places her 15
th in the RMAC. Gutierrez has generated 10 hits with seven RBI and a homerun while
Carlee Gonzalez sits behind at .391 batting average, nine hits, and nine RBI. Junior Camrynn Ziegker has recorded a team high 13 hits, hitting .382, and five RBI on the year and freshman
Paige Varni is hitting .364 from behind the plate with 8 hits and a homerun.

The Orediggers (4-8, 3-5 RMAC) are coming off a four game series against Colorado Mesa as the Mavericks won all four games in that series. Colorado Mines is hitting .282 as a group and has tallied 84 hits with 49 RBI and 7 homeruns.

Ciara Larson leads the Orediggers with a .375 batting average with 12 hits, 2 homeruns and 8 RBI while Kaylaigh Krueger is averaging .360 from behind the plate with 9 hits and 2 RBI.

Sadriena Rodriguez leads the team with a 3.62 ERA in three appearances while Sydney (1-3) is right behind with a 6.84 ERA and has given up 45 hits, 33 runs, and registered 18 strikeouts.
