Update: Spectators Will Be Allowed At Home Events

Las Vegas, NM --- The New Mexico Highlands athletics department is pleased to announce that spectators will be allowed at this weekend's baseball and softball games that will be held on the NMHU campus. Softball is scheduled for a four-game series with doubleheaders starting at 12 PM on Friday afternoon and 11 AM on Saturday morning. Baseball is scheduled for a 9-inning game beginning at 3 PM on Friday March 19^th, a doubleheader (7-innings) to begin on Saturday at 12 PM, with the final 9-inning game to begin at 12 PM on Sunday. Both teams will be playing against MSU Denver.
 
Tickets will become available for all events beginning Wednesday March 17^th at nmhuathletics.com under the "Fans Central" tab.  General admission will be $6.00 per person with children 12 years and younger will be free. Due to the COVID-19 New Mexico Department of Health Order, NMHU Athletic facilities are restricted to 25% capacity. Limited tickets are available and must be purchased online in advance. If a game is rescheduled, ticket will still be valid for new event date. If a game is canceled, ticket holder will be entitled to a refund. New Mexico Highlands University staff, faculty, and students are entitled to one free ticket each per event. An NMHU ID will need to be presented at time of entrance, along with your ticket.  All attendees of the event, paid or not, must obtain a ticket online prior to arrival. 
 
All spectators must wear a face covering and practice physical distancing while attending NMHU Athletic events. All tickets holders will be subject to a COVID screening upon arrival. Anyone who is showing signs of illness will not be allowed entrance to the event.
