The Cowgirls (5-15, 5-15 RMAC) dropped two heart-breakers in extra innings over the weekend to Chadron State as the Eagles went on to take the series 3-1. As a team, the Cowgirls are hitting .276 with 153 hits and 10 home runs while their opponents are batting .364.

Camrynn Ziegler leads the team with a .377 batting average and 29 hits and has also added 11 RBI, 2 homeruns, and 6 stolen bases while freshman
Carlee Gonzalez is right behind with a .360 batting average, 18 hits, team high 16 RBI and 4 homeruns. You can also expect to see
Megan Gutierrez (.340 AVG, 17 hits, 9 RBI, 1 HR) and
Savannah Pineda Chavez (.313 AVG, 15 hits, 4 RBI) to give the Cowgirls extra life in the batter's box.
