Moses Drops 40 in OT Victory

Colorado Springs, CO- The Colorado Springs commentator made no mistake about who he believes the best player on the court was. "The Mountain Lions have no answers for Dante Moses", the commentator repeatedly announced during the final stretch of this matchup. The Cowboys leader did just that by leading the team in all categories. Moses drew a total of 15 fouls as a result of his aggressive play. Moses singlehandedly Fouled out two Mountain Lions. He connected on 19-23 free throws and shot 10-20 from the field while connecting on his only three point attempt. Dante led Highlands in rebounds with 11 as the Cowboys brought in 47 team rebounds compared to 42 for the Mountain Lions. Jonathan Ileleji had arguably one of his best games of the season. He was a great secondary scorer to couple with Moses on the court by keeping the defense on their toes. This was a game that weighed heavily on free throw shooting as both teams shot 40 free throws. The Cowboys happened to make 31 free throws while the Mountain lions only made 21. The Cowboys showed great composure in this matchup. There were multiple moments late when the Cowboys could have fallen apart, but again the resiliency that this team shows is real.

Regis on the Road- Tune in tomorrow and catch the Cowboys back in action Saturday night @ Regis. The game will take place at 7pm. Regis is coming off a one point victory to CSU Pueblo Saturday.
