Men's Basketball Fred Slow

New Mexico Highlands Men's Basketball wins two post season awards.

Senior Dante Moses wins All-Conference First Team honors. Dante, in his loan season with the Cowboys, was a 27 game starter, averaged 30.2 minutes per game, shot over 53% from inside the peremitor and 41% from beyond 3. Dante scored 662 points on the season with a 24.5 point per game average. Dante also hauled in 178 rebounds averaging 6.6 per game while amassing 33 steals on the year.

Freshman standout TJ Sanchez also was awarded Co-Freshman of the Year from the RMAC. TJ was a 23 game starter in his own right. He averaged 22.8 minutes per matchup, shot just under 60% from the field and 46% from the 3 point line or further. TJ scored 121 points on the season with a 6.1 point per game average. TJ also excelled at the rim bringing in 91 rebounds from the guard position. Sanchez's quick hands also lead the team in steals with 39.
