LAS VEGAS, N.M. - The New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls (17-26, 13-22) will host the Colorado School of Mines Orediggers (22-21, 21-13) in a doubleheader on Saturday at noon. The games will take place at Brandt Field in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
The Cowgirls are coming off a 3-1 home series against Fort Lewis College. The team is looking to continue with a strong performance against the Orediggers. The Cowgirls will be led by junior centerfielder Samantha Gambo, who has been one of the top hitters for the team this season with a .398 average.
The Orediggers are also coming off a strong weekend with a sweep of Adams State. The Orediggers have been playing well lately, winning seven of their last eight games. The team will be looking to continue their success on the road against the Cowgirls.

Maya Milano will take the mound. She will be facing off against Orediggers' Sadriena Rodriguez, who will be making her 20th start of the season
