Las Vegas, New Mexico - The New Mexico Highlands softball team plays its home opener this weekend as they host MSU-Denver.
The Cowgirls are 5-4 overall and 1-3 in the RMAC after going 1-3 against UCCS last weekend in Pueblo. The Roadrunners enter weekend play at 9-5 overall and a perfect 4-0 in the conference after sweeping Black Hills State in Denver.
NMHU and MSU-Denver have played 53 times with the road runners holding a 43-10 edge in the series history including a 3-1 record in 2023.
