Las Vegas, New Mexico - The NMHU softball team returns to Las Vegas this weekend to kick-off an eight game home stand by hosting CSU-PuebloĀ this Saturday and Sunday.
The Thunder Wolves enter the weekend at 6-17 overall and 4-8 in the RMAC after going 1-3 with Black Hills State last weekend in Spearfish. CSU-Pueblo and NMHU split the four game series last season in Pueblo.
Last weekend in Golden, the Cowgirls salvaged the final game of the series 3-0 as
Maya Milano tossed a shutout to earn her fifth win of the season. As a team, NMHU is hitting .254 through 17 games.
Black Hills State will be in Las Vegas next weekend for a four game series beginning on Saturday afternoon.
