Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowgirls are on the road for the second consecutive weekend as they head to Durango for four games with Fort Lewis.
After splitting their series at Chadron State last weekend, the Cowgirls are 13-26 overall and 9-25 in RMAC play. Karle Banegas leads NMHU with a .398 batting average and
Maya Milano is 7-6 with a 4.55 ERA.
Fort Lewis enters play on Saturday at 14-27 overall and 12-20 in conference play after sweeping Black Hills State last weekend in Spearfish. The Skyhawks currently sit in seventh place in the RMAC. NMHU took three of four games from Fort Lewis last season.
Saturday's games get underway at 12:00 pm while Sunday's games are set for an 11:00 am first pitch.
