Denver, Colorado - After waiting out Mother Nature for two days, the Cowboys dropped a pair of games Sunday afternoon at Regis, falling 18-10 in the opening game and then 11-4 in the day's second contest.
In Sunday's first game the Cowboys led 8-6 after six innings but a big inning by the hosts in the seventh inning put the contest out of reach. 
Carlos Chavez recorded a couple of hits and three RBI and 
Tanner Hedrick was three for four with two runs scored. to pace NMHU. 
Benito Martinez and 
Bryant O'Neill each had a pair of RBI.
Sunday's second game started much like the first with the Cowboys up 4-3 after five innings before the Regis bats had a big sixth inning to secure their second win of the day. 
Carlos Chavez had four RBI in the game to lead NMHU.
The Cowboys are now 7-33 overall and 3-19 in the RMAC.
NMHU and Regis will play a doubleheader on Monday beginning at 12:00 pm.
