Las Vegas, New Mexico - The New Mexico Highlands softball team is set to kick off the 2025 campaign this weekend at the South Central Regional Challenge in Los Lunas.
NMHU will play a total of six games over the course of the three day event against teams from the Lone Star Conference. The weekend's complete schedule can be found at the 2025 South Central Regional Challenge

The Cowgirls were 16-31 overall and 12-30 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference a year ago.
Marc Benjamin takes over as the Head Coach for the 2025 season.
This weekend's games will be played at the Los Lunas Sports Complex, 1601 Highway 314, Los Lunas, NM.
Up next, the Cowgirls travel to Hobbs for a four game set with the University of the Southwest next Friday and Saturday.
