Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowgirls go the full five against Fort Lewis and come up short in the end.
Today's set was a game of runs. Fort Lewis had two six-point runs to take set one. The Cowgirl had six unanswered and would be the difference as they took set two. Set three early on was all Cowgirls, but the Skyhawks would not go away quietly. However, the Cowgirls would prevail.
Set four was all Skyhawks, which would send us to set five. The Cowgirls jumped out to an early lead, but the Skyhawks would claw their way back into it, which would end up going in the Skyhawks' favor.

Arianna Jamerson led the way with 17 kills, followed by
Elise Fourt with 11. Those two against Fort Lewis combined for 62 kills. Jamerson (35) Fourt (27).
