Golden, Colorado - The Cowboys came up on the short-end of a 19-15 slug-fest in Monday's series finale against the Colorado School of Mines. NMHU is 8-16 overall and 0-8 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
Sophomore
Gael Bernal led off the game with a home run as part of a five run first inning for the Cowboys. NMHU scored four runs in the third and another three runs in the fourth inning on Monday, but could not outlast the hosts.
Ryan Callanan paced the Cowboys offensively as he went four for five with four RBI.

NMHU used six pitchers in Monday's game and Tyler Sundstrom took the loss in relief.
The Cowboys now have ten days off before they host UCCS in a series that kick-offs on Friday, March 28th.
