Cowgirls Drop Two in Day One in Golden

Las Vegas, NM  -

Game 1: The Cowgirls took the lead in the third inning of the first game of the day when Karla Banegas doubled to center field followed by Alesaandra Dela Trinidad ground out to score the run to make the lead 3-1. However, the Orediggers offense would take off in the final four innings and the Cowgirls would lose the first game 7-3.

Game 2: A back and forth game was game two of the series the Cowgirls offense would have seven unanswered ruins going into the fifth. Then the orediggers would score 12 unanswered in the bottom half of the fifth. The Cowgirls would fall 15-7.

The Cowgirls wrap up their season tomorrow with a doubleheader in Golden. First pitch of game one at 11 AM MST.
