Cowgirls Travel To Adams State On Tuesday Evening

Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowgirls play their first road conference match of 2025 on Tuesday night as they travel to Alamosa for a 6:00 pm meeting with Adams State.

NMHU HEAD COACH: Meg Grose is in her second season at New Mexico HIghlands. She earned her first win as the head coach of the Cowgirls over Sul Ross State on September 13th and her first conference win against Adams State on September 20th, 2024. She was previously the head coach at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin.

LAST TIME OUT: NMHU dropped a pair of RMAC matches last weekend in Las Vegas as they opened the weekend with a five-set loss to Westminster. On Saturday night, nationally ranked Colorado Mesa topped the Cowgirls 3-0.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS: The Grizzlies are 3-8 overall and 0-2 in conference play. Like the Cowgirls, they opened RMAC play with losses to visiting Colorado Mesa and Westminster. Garcia Ramser is in his second season as the head coach of the Grizzlies.

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING: As a team, the Cowgirls are second in the RMAC with 17.13 digs per set and they are third in the conference with 1.87 aces per set.

Meg Pfannerstill is fourth in the RMAC with 0.50 aces per set.

Naya Dornic is 14th in the RMAC with 0.41 aces per set.

The Cowgirls 20 service aces in last week's win against Northwestern Oklahoma State is the most by an RMAC team this season.
