Colorado Mines Top Cowgirls On Saturday

Golden, Colorado - The Cowgirls dropped a 3-0 decision to Colorado School of Mines on Saturday evening. NMHU is 4-8 overall and 0-4 in the RMAC. The Orediggers improve to 9-3 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

For the fourth time this season Jaylee Gonzales had double figures kills as she recorded a match high 11 on Saturday. Arianna Jamerson added seven kills while Aziza Morris had six.

Freshman Marissa Sandoval-Moya recorded a career high 16 assists.

Defensively, Becca Wiersema had a match high 16 digs.

The Cowgirls play in the RMAC Power Pod next week as they play at Adams State on Tuesday at 6:00 pm and host Fort Lewis on Saturday night at 7:00 pm in a pair of non conference matches.
