Las Vegas, New Mexico - The 2025–26 wrestling season culminates this weekend in Sioux City, South Dakota, as the NCAA Division II Championships take place Friday and Saturday.
Cowboy junior Ivan Smith is seeded No. 6 in this year's 165-pound bracket. He punched his ticket to the national championships with a runner-up finish at Super Regional VI on February 28 and was undefeated in RMAC duals this season. Smith enters the NCAA Championships with a 28–4 overall record, is currently ranked sixth nationally at 165 pounds by The Open Mat, and will be making his second consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships.
