Golden, CO --- The New Mexico Highlands men's basketball team travels to Golden, CO for the first round of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament against No. 3 Colorado School of Mines at 7:30 pm at Lockridge Arena.

ABOUT THE OREDIGGERS: The Orediggers () come in to the tournament as the 6 seed after winning their last game of the regular season against UCCS. The Orediggers average 77.3 points per game while shooting 46.7% from the field and 40.3% from three while also grabbing 35 rebounds and 13 assists per game. Mason Baker leads the way with 14.7 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists while Brendan Sullivan averages 13.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2 assists per game. Michael Glen (12 points, 6.5 rebounds) and Kobi Betts (10.4 points, 2.7 rebounds) will also look to aid the Orediggers.

ABOUT THE COWBOYS: The Cowboys have won four-straight games as they head in to the tournament with the best scoring-duo in division 2, while finishing as the 6 seed in the RMAC.
Sammy Barnes-Thompkins averages 24.3 points (3 assists, 2 rebounds) while
Raquan Mitchell (5 rebounds, 4 assists) averages 24.0 points per game as they have led the RMAC in scoring for the majority of the season.
Desmond Carpenter (8.6 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists),
Darius Harrison (7.5 points, 5 rebounds), and
DJ Bustos (7.1 points, 2 rebounds) will also look to aid the Cowboys for their quest for a repeat as conference champions.
