COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- The New Mexico Highlands women's basketball team was picked 15th in the RMAC Women's Basketball Preseason Poll released Wednesday by the conference.
The Cowgirls will be returning to action after missing the 2020-21 season due to the pandemic.
NMHU had 17 points in the poll and was picked just behind Chadron State who had 25 points. Colorado School of Mines was picked to win the conference with 190 points and 11 first-place votes followed by Colorado Mesa, MSU Denver and Western Colorado.
The Cowgirls open their season Nov. 12 on the road at Western New Mexico.
