LAS VEGAS, N.M. --- The New Mexico Highlands softball team hosts Colorado School of Mines in a four-game series pushed back to Sunday.
COWGIRLS HEADING INTO THE SERIES | 2022 STATISTICS
NMHU were swept last weekend by Regis in a four-game set as the Cowgirls moved to 2-6 in RMAC play.
Heaven Medina is off to a strong start to the season at the plate, hitting .441 with an OPS of 1.302Â thanks to two homers, five doubles and 12Â RBI.
Arianna Ramirez is hitting .368Â with seven RBI and five doubles.
Camrynn Ziegler (.327 AVG, HR, 7 RBI, 5 SB,, 5 2B 8 R) andÂ
Samantha Gamboa (.341, 2 HR, 6 RBI) are hitting above .300 for the Cowgirls as well.
Nathalie Blattmann continues to pace the Cowgirls in the circle as she's 4-2 on the season with a 3.03 ERA with 31 strikeouts in 39.1 innings.Â

The Orediggers are coming off a pair of losses at home to Colorado Mesa last weekend, 6-3 and 11-0, before the final two games of the series were canceled.
Trystin Oshiro-Sano has been the team's top hitting, batting .333 with three RBI and five doubles. In the circle, Sadrieana Rodriguez has led the pitching staff with a 3.45 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 22.1 innings.
