LAS VEGAS, N.M. --- The New Mexico Highlands softball team hits the road to take on MSU Denver starting Saturday in Denver.

NMHUÂ is looking to snap its current losing streak after dropping four-RMAC contests at home to Colorado School of Mines last weekend and dropping a non-RMAC doubleheader Wednesday at Adams State.
Samantha Gamboa leads the team in hitting at .327 with tow homers, and seven RBI,
Arianna Ramirez is hitting .321 with 10 RBI and a team-best seven doubles,
Heaven Medina is hitting .320 with two homers, 12 RBI and five doubles while Camrynn Zielger is hitting .302 with a homer, six doubles, two triples and seven RBI.
Nathalie Blattmann continues to pace NMHU in the circle with a 4-6 record, 3.99 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 54.1 innings.
MSU DENVER HEADING INTO THE SERIESÂ | 2022Â STATISTICS
The Roadrunners have won five of their last six contests, taking three of four at CSU Pueblo last weekend before winning both ends of doubleheader at home against Washburn on Wednesday.
Shelby Robb leads the team in hitting at .317 with two homers, 16 RBI and six doubles while Hannah DiFabio isn't far behind at .316 with three homers, 11 RBI and five doubles. Katie Maney has been the Roadrunners' top power threat with six homers, 17 RBI and 15 runs.
In the circle, Julia Heittz owns a 2.21 ERA in 11 appearances (one start) with nine strikeouts in 25.1 innings. Sarah Norton is 4-3 with a 3.94 ERA and 44 strikeouts in a team-high 58.2 innings while Audrey Burt (4.33 ERA, 42 innings) and Destinee Lopez (4.55 ERA, 40.0 innings) have also seen plenty of time pitching for MSU Denver.
