LAS VEGAS, N.M. --- The New Mexico Highlands softball team hits the road for a mid-week, non-conference doubleheader at Eastern New Mexico 1 p.m. Tuesday.

The two teams met earlier this season during opening weekend in Albuquerque (Feb. 5-6) with the Greyhounds winning both contests - 9-3 and 9-1.

COWGIRLS HEADING INTO THE SERIES | 2022 STATISTICS
NMHU was swept last weekend by CSU Pueblo in a four-game RMAC series, losing 5-2, 10-2, 6-0 and 6-2.

Heaven Medina hit her team-leading fourth and fifth homers over the weekend to go along with a team-best .298 average, 19 runs and 0.932 OPS. She also has seven doubles and 17 RBI. Camrynn Ziegler is hitting .296 with a homer, two triples, nine doubles, 17 runs and a team-best 11 steals. Arianna Ramirez leads the team in RBI (20) and doubles (12) to go along with two homers, 11 runs and a .296 average.

Nathalie Blattmann leads the Cowgirl pitching staff with a 4.94 ERA with 78 strikeouts in 107.2 innings while Ramirez has a 7.48 with 36 strikeouts in 77.2 innings.

EASTERN NEW MEXICO HEADING INTO THE SERIES | 2022 STATISTICS
The Greyhounds haven't played since splitting a doubleheader with Midwestern State on April 10 at home - winning 8-7 and losing 11-1.

Lisette Urquidez is the team's top hitter with a .333 average, 1.033 OPS, eight homers, 35 RBI, 21 runs and 10 doubles - all team bests. In the circle, Brook Leger leads ENMU with a 9-13 record, 3.25 ERA and 146 strikeouts in 116.1 innings - including striking out 15 Cowgirls in the team's first matchup on Feb. 5.
