LAS VEGAS, N.M. --- The New Mexico Highlands softball team hits the road to take on UCCS in its final road games of the season starting noon Friday at Mountain Lion Field. The contests were moved up a day due to impending inclement weather.

Arianna Ramirez hit her third homer of the season Tuesday and is hitting a team-best .305 with 21 RBI, 12 doubles and 13 runs.
Camrynn Ziegler is hitting .298 with a homer, nine doubles, two triples, 14 RBI and 18 runs while
Heaven Medina hit her team-best sixth homer on Tuesday to go along with 19 RBI, seven doubles, 20 runs and a .297 average.
Nathalie Blattmann leads NMHU in the circle at 5-16 with a 4.90 ERA and 81 strikeouts in 108.2 innings of work.
UCCS HEADING INTO THE SERIES | 2022 STATISTICS
The Mountain Lions enter the weekend having dropped seven of their last eight contests, including being swept at home by Colorado Mesa last weekend: 10-4, 9-1, 4-1 and 5-2.
Sawyer Brewster has paced the UCCS lineup this season, leading the team in average (.397), OPS (1.243), home runs (12) and doubles (13) while adding 31 RBI and 30 runs (one behind the team lead in each category). Solana Martinez is hitting .368 with three homers, 17 RBI, 11 doubles and two triples, Paige White is hitting .347 with an OPS over 1.000 (1.025) with nine homers, 31 RBI and nine doubles while Peyton Reisman leads the team with 32 RBI to go along with seven homers and a .266 average.
Braeylne Crenshaw leads the team in the circle with a 6-11 record, 11 complete games in 19 starts, 103 strikeouts and a 4.14 ERA in 113.1 innings.
